This week on Brook Reading, I had the distinct pleasure to interview author Alicia Dill and discuss her new novel, Beyond Sacrifice. Alicia talks about the bonds amongst veterans, the importance of knowing facts from fiction, and the feeling of meeting a “unicorn in the wild”. Afterwards, I highlight and review her most recent venture, Beyond Sacrifice, SPOILER - FREE! Don’t forget to visit Alicia’s website, www.aliciadill.com, to find out more about this incredibly talented and influential author, and pick up your own copy of Beyond Sacrifice!
Alicia Dill is an Army veteran, journalist, public speaker, and award-winning author. Originally from Missouri, she joined the Iowa Army National Guard at the age of seventeen. She received a degree in journalism and international studies at the University of Iowa, and has a masters from the University of Dubuque. Her first book, Squared Away, was a 2020 International Next Generation Indie Book Award winner and a finalist for the National Indie Excellence Award.
