Julie and Shawn first discuss the prevalence of gun violence in America, and how existing political systems are not set up to incentivize lawmakers to promote policies that majority of Americans want. They also discuss how this can be addressed through changes in the way we vote, such as through Rank Choice Voting (RCV) and Open Primaries.
