The new season is drawing closer and Wanderers still have plenty to do in the transfer market.

Ian Evatt has revealed some serious bids have been made but, at time of recording, there were no deals on the immediate horizon.

Should Bolton fans be concerned? Is the squad looking any stronger than it was last season?

Marc Iles and Henry Hewitt chew the fat, and go through all the headlines from The Bolton News, reviewing the two friendly outings against Middlesbrough and Chorley (where Wanderers scored four times, just saying).

We examine all the injury problems and what they might mean for the start of the season, plus the boys look ahead to games against Fiorentina and Stoke City.

All of that, plus some cryptic chaos with Gavin McCann, Gavin McCan't.

It's first, not last... A grown up's podcast.
