Welcome to episode 6 of The Business of Sports Show, a show that looks at both sides of sports, from the on the field to the off field business. We have an amazing guest this week, Jack Shore from the UFC, bringing a insight into one of the biggest sporting brands in the world!
Jack Shore is a young guy with an old head on his shoulders, in a world that many look into and see the big feuds and stunts of the likes of McGregor or even any of the other characters from the world of combat sports, Jack comes across as someone who is humble about what he has achieved and sets about it in a professional way.
We talk about his journey in the world of fighting through to getting THAT call, the moment he was dreaming of. The experience of a whole different level of event, the travel and the prep as well as the effects that COVID-19 have had on his progression in the sport he was born to do.
We explore his team and all the effort that goes into getting him to the octagon, ready and focussed to take on another opponent.
This episode was a pleasure to record, Jack truly comes across as a humble young man with an old head on his shoulders, who is about giving back as much as he is about moving forward.
