Ben is an Agriculture Specialist, recently retired from Maryland Department of Agriculture after 32 years. Ben is now a beekeeper. He teaches beginners classes at a local college. He is the president of the local beekeeping association, life member of both Maryland and Pennsylvania State Beekeeper associations and a mentor to many new people getting into the hobby.
In this episode you will hear about his work as an agriculture specialist, the values in forest corridors, his work with the bees, bees as agricultural animals/insects, and more.
