On this episode of The Calling Hours Horror Podcast my guest will be Filmmaker and Photojournalist Fernando De La Cruz. Fernando has begun a horror short series on Youtube called THE DECADENCE OF UMBRA that will be sure to catch the eyes and ears of horror fans everywhere. He writes, directs and narrates the tales of terror we seen in the videos and I am certainly looking forward to future episodes. I will also be asking him if there is any pressure making horror shorts in a city with such a rich horror tradition, how he began working on film abd music videos, if the pandemic helped or hurt him as he grew in the industry and so much more! In our Digital Dismemberment Spotlight, we will be looking back at my review of Scream Factory’s Blu-Ray Release of Cockney’s Vs. Zombies. In Dread Caricatures, we will be finishing off the Plague of the Living Dead series from Avatar Press with issue #6. In our Metal Massacre Spotlights, we will be featuring Cattle Decapitation and Whitechapel from Metal Blade Records as well as Bonecarver from Unique Leaders Records.
