On this episode the boys are joined by an American hockey LEGEND, captain of the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” USA Olympic team and the man who scored the game-winning goal, Mike Eruzione. Who would’ve thought one of our few guests who never played in the NHL would have one of the most important and unforgettable legacies in sports history. Not only did he captain team USA, but he scored the game winning goal against the Soviets in a game that would spawned multiple movies, a handful of books, and a became a staple in hockey, American, and sports history. Mike talks about how he became captain of team USA, why he never went to the NHL, his thoughts on the movie, and much more.
