In this episode I speak with the very talented Naomi Steckman; the Artistic Director, Cellist & Founder of the non-profit Beyond the Bounds which she Co-Founded with Dancer & Choreographer Diana Steinberg in 2020.
Beyond the Bounds focuses on building a strong coastal community by utilizing dance parties, beach cleanups, educational programming on marine life, ethnic music, dance, art and so much more.
This is a very timely episode because Naomi has put in a tremendous amount of work with the Orleans Pond Coalition to deliver the 2024 Celebrate Our Waters town wide event October 13th-15th. There will be music, sailing, excursions, education & enjoyment throughout Orleans for the entire weekend showcasing the best of the Lower Cape culture & beyond. Welcome Naomi to the show and thank you all so much for listening!
