Bob Lapinski, the College of DuPage Workforce Connection Coordinator uses his experience connecting with employers to share some common trends in today’s job market. NACE (The National Association of Colleges and Employers) has a list of the top 8 competencies that most employers are looking for in candidates: Critical Thinking, Communication, Career and Self Development, Equity and Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, and Technology.

Topic #2 Rebecca interviews Bob Lapinski, the Workforce Connections Coordinator at College of DuPage in the Career Services Center about recent job market trends. His role is to connect the college with local, regional and national employers to further develop internship and related employment opportunities.
