Celtic rounded off their US trip with a 4-1 win over Chelsea meaning Brendan Rodgers’ side racked up a total of 12 goals on their travels, setting themselves up nicely for the new campaign.

It all kicks off again this Sunday against Kilmarnock but – as it stands – the manager won’t have any new outfield signings at his disposal.

It’s been a cause of some concern amongst supporters and we look at some of the reasons for the lack of activity so far.
