Hello and welcome to the first episode of the Cheer Up Luv Podcast, hosted by Eliza Hatch!

Today I am speaking to gender rights activist Sophie Sandberg, who founded the incredible platform Catcalls of NYC, which aims to combat street harassment through chalking experiences directly onto the pavement.

In this episode we speak about what inspired Sophie to start her platform, using art for activism, and later in the show we discuss the lasting impacts street harassment can have.

If you would like to find out more about Sophie's work visit: https://www.catcallsofnyc.com/

*Trigger Warning*

We will be discussing an experience of sexual harassment towards the end of the episode.

If you would like to send in your story, please feel free to DM @cheerupluv or submit via the website: http://www.cheerupluv.com
