Hello and welcome to the Cheer Up Luv Podcast, hosted by Eliza Hatch. This week I am having a really candid talk with a very special friend of mine, the incredibly talented artist Faye Wei Wei. I have known Faye since we were about 13, when we used to hang out in dodgy skate parks and drink panda pops (throwback). These days, I often walk into magazine shops just to flick through and see how many publications I can find her in. I am constantly amazed by how successful she has become, and how incredibly beautiful her paintings are. In this episode, we speak about the importance of role models, sexism in the art industry, reductive stereotypes, and shame. To follow the brilliant work Faye is doing, check out her Instagram here: @fayeweiwei

*Trigger Warning* We will be discussing themes surrounding racial harassment, and towards the end of the episode we will read out an experience of sexual harassment.
