How do I raise kids who love God? Just talk about God, Bro!

In this episode I tackle the question, "How do I raise kids who love God?" The short answer is - Just talk about God, Bro! Specifically, there are two things you need to talk about to raise kids who love God. Talk about what God expects and what God has done.

To talk about what God expects means to explain to your kids why your family does certain things. You also talk about why you don't do certain things. Your reason can't be "just because." Explain to your kids that you do certain things and avoid others because you feel that is what God expects of your family. How do I raise kids who love God? Talk about what God expects.

But to raise kids who love God, you also have to talk about what God has done. Why? Because your kids probably haven't experienced God's power for themselves yet. You have to talk to them about what God has done. God has done some incredible things for you! The only way your kids are going to know about them is if you talk to your kids about what God has done.

To raise kids who love God it's important that you talk about both what God expects AND what God has done. Don't just talk about one or the other. Talk to your kids about both. In the episode I tell you why.

There's a lot to learn from this episode. So in answer to the question, "How do I raise kids who love God?" Talk about what God expects and what God has done! Just talk about God, Bro!
