In this three-part series on prayer, we explore three different prayers found in the Old Testament and examine how they can help us pray biblically and with faith.
In part 2 of Let Us Pray, we look at a prayer of ‘Dependance’. We read about Habakkuk, a minor prophet, who is faced with turmoil and voices his frustration to God. We see how Habakkuk goes on a journey of raw honesty into reverent lament and eventual praise. We learn from this story that God invites us to lament honestly to Him, while also trusting His sovereignty.
