“Now made alive in Christ, we are called to live out our new identity transformed by God’s Spirit, engaging in the process of whole-person discipleship that is personal, embodied, and relational.” - @janicechinchern Janice continued our sermon series, Immeasurably More, with teachings anchored in Ephesians 4:25-5:21 where Paul called the Ephesian church to be immeasurably transformed by the Spirit in these manner: 1. Put off the old, put on the new (4:25-32) 2. Imitate Christ’s love and holiness (5:1-7) 3. Shine as children of light (5:8-14) 4. Walk in wisdom and Spirit-filled freedom (5:15-21) She invited us to spend time examining our hearts and ponder over this in the upcoming week, “In what area of our lives is God inviting us to experience deeper transformation, and how can we intentionally partner with the Holy Spirit?” As children of God and imitators of the light, may we pray for grace to engage in our transformation process to be more Christlike for the sake of others to the glory of God.
