In the first episode of The Clientele Podcast, host Robin Allender talks to Alasdair MacLean and James Hornsey from The Clientele about the band's background and about the making of the fantastic new album I Am Not There Anymore. There are insights into songwriting, production and some of the surprising influences on the album. There is also a discussion about how growing up in the 'in-between' town of Fleet affected Alasdair's songs, and how the new album is an 'emotional autobiography set to music', as Alasdair said in a recent interview with Chickfactor.
