If you’re new to the coaching business, making your first $15K can almost seem like an impossible feat. One of the first steps is really nailing down who you plan to help with your coaching. Niching down can be tricky, especially if you’re juggling between one or more groups you’d like to help.

With the help of his pal Chris Dufey, Taki fields questions from newbie coaches stuck on choosing their niche. I even get to jump in on a question or two. Most of the time, you already know what your niche is, you just need a little validation from the experts.

The questions vary, but all are centred around the hows, whens and whys of niching down. A lot of the time, new coaches get stuck because they’re not being honest with themselves. Who do you want to help and why? You probably already know the answer.

Questions and Topics Discussed:

  • {00:01:40} When you can’t decide between two niches, how do you know which one will work better for your business?
  • {00:10:29} As a brand new coach, where should you focus your time to bring in clients?
  • {00:20:10} How do you differentiate yourself in a crowded marketplace? And how do you build authority in a large niche?
