Running your system at the Varsity level takes time, practice, fine tuning, and even some system changes as you go along. Running that same system at lower levels is all of those, with less time to install, less football IQ amongst players (and often coaches), and lack of experience for all parties involved. But, it’s not only doable, but something you SHOULD DO.
On this episode we're joined by Bixby High School's Freshman Offensive Coordinator, Cameron Palmer. Coach Palmer has been apart of one of the most explosive offenses in the country for several years, and has found ways to adapt the system for his Freshman team each year.
