Karen Crnkovich, a life-long, natural-born, sales person, has spent her entire life ‘selling’. She has diverse experience in both roles and industries. From administrative assistant to Director of Sales & Marketing in the hospitality, web-development, commercial printing, real estate and HVAC/plumbing fields; she has a track record of success in both long and short cycle situations. In short, Karen can sell anything to anyone. During her time in the hotel industry, she won numerous national awards, including Sales Executive of the Year, Director of Sales & Marketing of the Year and twice as the “Pit-Bull” Sales Person of the Year.

Her involvement with DMC Service dates back to the early days. Karen went from being the ‘ride-along/flash-light’ holder, to taking over all accounting, HR and marketing functions in 2010. That same year Karen started classes to learn the industry.

In 2012, Karen officially bought into DMC as 51% owner. In 2014, DMC was certified by the State of KS as a DBE/WBE company. This same year, Karen began overseeing all business operations of the company – including project management, dispatching and scheduling technicians in the field. When, in 2015, the founder decided he had other dreams to pursue, he sold the remaining 49% shares to Karen.

Since then DMC Service has doubled in revenues and is projecting to continue on growth trajectory.

Karen is an active community volunteer, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Kansas City, MO and as PTO President at her youngest daughter’s school. She is a proud step parent to three great kids and two 4.5lb fur babies.
