This week, Phil and Justin sit down to discuss how ordering from a comic shop differs from other means, and how to navigate the limited information before a comic is released to gauge if it's something you'll like. They also discuss the benefits of having a subscription list with your local comic shop, as well as briefly discussing other methods for purchasing and reading comics.
(Editor's correction: The recent Batman/Fortnite comic mentioned during this episode was originally priced at $4.99 rather than $8, and the trending price on eBay was at $45 rather than $120, although there is at least one instance of a consumer paying $117 for a copy of a first printing. Regardless, the large shift in price made it a timely example to discuss.)
