Welcome to The Connection podcast by Connect Global. In this episode, titled "FAQ — Why do you work in other countries?", we explore a question that we often get asked: why does Connect Global work in other countries?

Javier and Danielle Mendoza begin by discussing the work that Connect Global does in the United States, highlighting the various ways in which we help our local communities. However, we also believe that our mission extends beyond just our immediate surroundings. As Christians, we are called to follow The Great Commission, which instructs us to "go and make disciples of all nations." We believe that this commandment applies to all Christians, regardless of where they live.

Through our work in other countries, we have seen firsthand the transformative power of connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Our work in these countries has enabled us to form meaningful relationships and bring about positive change in the lives of those we serve. We discuss the importance of having a global perspective and how working in other countries can help us better understand the world around us.

Ultimately, we believe that our work should not be an either/or proposition. Instead, we strive to strike a balance between our local and global efforts. By doing so, we hope to make a positive impact in our communities and in the wider world.

So join us as we dive into this important topic and explore the reasons why we work in other countries. We hope this episode will inspire you to think about your own role in fulfilling The Great Commission and making a difference in the world.
