Segment 2:

Sam introduces Doctor Shah who is currently working on the front lines against the virus. She talks about her experience as a medical professional in the pandemic from back in January to when it hit the States in early March, as well as her perspective as a mother working astray from her family. She lays out the current situation in the ER and the transition into focusing on tackling COVID-19.

Segment 3:

Doctor Shah discusses the precautions being taken in order to efficiently run the hospital without spreading the virus to the doctors and other patients, trends that she has observed among people infected with COVID-19, how people are viewing and processing the pandemic on a ground level.

Segment 4:

Sam and Doctor Shah discuss the reckless behavior of people in regards to the virus, the testing of potential carriers, and the overall morale of the hospital during these times. The guest defines the term ‘flattening the curve’ and projects how long she believes coronavirus will continue to disrupt normal life.
