Hafeez Hassan is a silat practitioner, functional rehab specialist, and movement coach who has been in the performing arts industry for more than 20 years. Known for his “dynamic movement design” on stage, Hafeez has been involved in numerous musicals ,music videos and tv commercials both as a performer and choreographer. Due to the nature of his job, his passion towards physical movement grew. His curiosity then brought him into the fitness world where he became a certified fitness coach and a rehab specialist.
With all the knowledge and experiences he has gathered over the years, It dawned on him that the key to longevity of the body is correct alignment/posture especially when the body is in motion and this includes daily activities. His practices integrates dance, silat and yoga with functional corrective exercises to align the body, mind and spirit to achieve a peaceful body and a more empowered posture when moving.
Till today, Hafeez continues to share his craft on various platforms including his current men’s work movement: The Brothers Circle where he invites men to go within their hearts and mind while empowering their body language through movement.”
