We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." Renegade remains exhausted from the 50th annual 2024 Seattle International Film Festival. Gus saw 17 films, and nearly every single one was directly about White Supremacy/Racism. For those not watching television, non-white people in the Congo announced a failed coup attempt that allegedly involved US citizens - some of them classified as White. This stunned Gus as the best film of the #SIFF2024 was Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat - which examines how Whites around the world conspired to assassinate Prime Minister Patrice Lumumba and lied about having done so.
