The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Racist Suspect, Dr. Jennifer Saul. A professor and Waterloo Chair in Social and Political Philosophy of Language, Dr. Saul’s area’s of interest include: “Racist and sexist language, diversifying academia, implicit bias, pragmatics, deception.” Gus found her 2023 publication, Dogwhistles and Figleaves: How Manipulative Language Spreads Racism and Falsehood, while searching for recent publications. Gus T., and attempted counter-racist scientists, should be keenly interested in the use of words and the science of deception. Students of the late Dr. Frances Cress Welsing should pay particular attention to the title of this book. In The Isis Papers: Keys to the Colors, Dr. Welsing provides invaluable analysis about the importance of figleaves and dogs in the Culture/System of White Supremacy/Racism. Fuller reminds us that the primary method of maintaining White Power over non-white people is deception. In addition to lots snickering, Dr. Saul was extremely hesitant to acknowledge her expertise in the practice of White Supremacy.
