The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 11th study session on Ralph Ellison's celebrated 1952 novel, Invisible Man. Gus T's all-time favorite book, Ellison's exemplary work was tabbed for the 1953 National Book Award and has been inspected and esteemed internationally for more than a half century. The book follows an unnamed black male as he grinds through the abuse and deception of White Supremacy (Racism). Last week's session saw the narrator bamboozled by a White Woman; while speaking on the "woman question," a married White Woman used words to manipulate the unnamed protagonist back to her residence and, ultimately, her bedroom. It seems her White husband may have been present to witness the "integrated" bedroom activity. Following this tragic encounter, the protagonist is summoned back to Harlem to help re-organize the Brotherhood. He learns that Brother Tod Clifton, a black member, is missing and the Brotherhood has chosen to abandon the problems of black Harlem to focus their time and energy on more global objectives. The narrator discovers Brother Clifton, only to see him gunned down in the street by New York's finest. #AntiBlackness INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#
