The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 5th study session on Ralph Ellison's 1952 classic, Invisible Man. One of Gus's most beloved works of literature, Ellison's book was selected for the 1953 National Book Award and has been examined and hailed around the world for nearly 75 years. Invisible Man recounts an unnamed black male floundering through the confusion of White Supremacy (Racism). Last week's session described the narrator's confrontation with Dr. Bledsoe, head of the so called HNIC of the black college. Dr. Bledsoe brandishes his power over Ellison's protagonist and banishes him from the campuses with the narrow hope that one day he may invited back. After hitching a bus to New York, the main character discovers the vet from the Golden Day has also been expelled from the area near the school. The unnamed soldier encourages the unnamed narrator to think for himself and to be careful dealing with Whites. We'll see how the big city treats our ambitious protagonist. #AntiBlackness INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#
