I can’t believe it’s finally here… The Creative Drift Podcast! This has been in the works for a while now and I’m SO excited to kick things off with this first ever episode.
If you are a creative person, you can probably relate to my story through college and beyond. I had no idea what I wanted to do for a living - I thought I wanted to be a doctor and do Doctors Without Borders, before I remembered the sight of blood makes me faint 😂 I loved being at college but once I was released into the big wide world I felt so directionless and lost. This is definitely a common theme for us creatives and artists, as we’re often made to feel as though our talents should just be a hobby, and not a career - this is going to be a BIG part of the podcast going forward, so you can look forward to being surrounded by like minded people when you plug in your headphones!
You can tune into the episode to find out how I landed in photography, but it’s safe to say that I’ve really found my calling. I love what I do, I love my business and I’m sure I’m going to love this podcast, too. I’ve got some amazing, badass business owners lined up as guests who are going to inspire you to go and do all those things you’ve always been told you couldn’t do. We’re going to challenge those social constructs, discuss business strategy, marketing, finance and so much more, to get you confident that you really can run a business in a way that makes YOU happy.
