Trumpeter and composer, Darren Johnston, talks about our upcoming show with his project, The Pipes, and my project, Cosa Nostra Strings, at the Back Room in Berkeley June 9th at 7:30. We also talk about his projects, the trumpet life, and a good deal of politics. It gets pretty political in the 2nd half, but we circle back to music within that section.
