Unborn children as a tax exemption and Whoopi Goldberg’s “religious” argument for abortion
Manage episode 337148065 series 2388288
Unborn children in Georgia are now eligible for a $3,000 income tax exemption. The Safe Haven Baby Box at a firehouse in Carmel, Indiana, has received three babies so far this year. Unfortunately, abortion advocates are responding to the overturning of Roe v. Wade in ways that are persuasive for many, including Whoopi Goldberg’s “religious” argument for abortion. In The Daily Article for August 9, 2022, Dr. Jim Denison offers four ways that culture promotes abortion, three strategies to promote life, and why it’s instrumental that Christians are discerning and “pro” every life. For more on practical ways to engage your culture redemptively, see my latest article, “How a local pastor became a ‘lifeline’ after the Kentucky floods.” And, for more on the empowering privilege of serving others, see “Before you climb this mountain, pay for your funeral.” Also, for more on the importance of community in changing culture, see my personal blog, “A door without a wall.”
