The Daily Office: Morning Prayer. Our liturgy is a compilation from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, Enriching Our Worship, Volumes I & II, Prepare the Way: Celtic Prayers for the Season of Light, and Celtic Daily Prayer, Books One and Two. Our readings this morning: Psalms 66 & 67, Isaiah 11:10-16, Revelation 20:11-21:8, and the Gospel of Luke 1:5-15. We pray for open and brave hearts and minds to see and walk into the Holy New. We continue to use an inclusive-language Affirmation of Faith derived from Ephesians 3:15-17, written by John Schimminger of St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church. The Bible version used for our readings and commentary references is the Fifth Edition New Oxford Annotated Bible, New Revised Standard Version, with the Apocrypha: An Ecumenical Study Bible.
