In this episode I interview Will Van Der Veer who is the co-founder of The Integrative Psychiatry Institute.
This was one of my most favourite episodes to do because psychedelic therapy has a tremendous effect on my life. I'm probably one of the only people to admit that drugs changed my life for the better.
This is why I'm stoked to bring on my friend and one of the leading authorities on Psychedelic Therapy Will Van Der Veer. In this episode we talk about what psychedelic therapy is, who should do it, who shouldn't do it and his personal journey from going from a psychiatrist to training others to administer psychedelic therapy.
Hope you enjoy this one.
A little bit of info on Will:
Will Van Derveer, MD is a leader in the adoption of integrative psychiatry practices globally. After discovering that his conventional psychiatric training was inadequate to answer many of the challenges facing his patients, Dr. Van Derveer began to learn how to resolve the root causes of common psychiatric problems such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
In addition to his supervision work at the clinic, he is co-founder, with Keith Kurlander, of the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, www.psychiatryinstitute.com, where hundreds of psychiatrists are learning how to bring these tools into their own practices.
