Well it was rather straightforward for England and the USA in the end at the 2022 World Cup wasn't it? Top of Group B and into the last 16, what was everyone panicking about? Our Data Day Live panel is packed with guests today looking at how both of these nations progressed and what might be to come in the knockout stages too.

Join Matt Furniss and Graham Bell along with special quests Dan Edwards from Opta Joe and Jeff Mangurten from Opta Jack to reflect on England and United States' performances at the tournament so far. Meanwhile, it has been a slightly easier transition through the group stage for defending champions France but what else is there to come from this side? Opta Jean's Erwann Simon fought through some technical difficulties to leave us wondering - is it going to be their year once again?

Each weekday through the 2022 World Cup, The Data Day Live will bring you up to date with the latest from the tournament. Want to catch the shows live? Make sure you are following us on Twitter or you can also watch the show on our YouTube channel.
