Action Principle
- Change your perspective on networking. Instead of worrying about who you already know at an upcoming event, focus on the potential for meeting new people. ACTION: Commit to attending a networking event and focus on the excitement of meeting new people.
- Be curious. When meeting new people, go into it with a mindset of giving first. Ask questions and be genuinely interested in getting to know others. ACTION: Use the guest list to research attendees beforehand so you can ask better questions and make genuine connections.
