James McMillan is a multi-disciplined artist, author, surfer, Father, and founder of Byron Bay Surf Festival. He is deeply connected to the ocean, the land, and the people of his community. He is passionate about culture, the environment, human evolvement, and bringing people into deeper connection with themselves and their purpose.

James has been chasing his own spiritual evolution since he was 18 years old after the passing of his father Ken. He has supported this journey by completing studies in Visual Arts, Holistic Counseling, Transformational Life Coaching & Art Therapy. He also has his Yoga YTT200, cert in Energetic Healing and has completed subjects at School of the Supernatural in Byron Bay. “I have been meditating since 1999 and have been practicing Kriya yoga, which is an ancient yogic breathwork, since 2016…I was initiated into this practice via a third generation disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda.
