We all know that Austin is a hot-bed for live music. This time of year, the coal bed gets stirred and the fresh oxygen gets things fricking hot. The SXSW festival brings in a ridiculous amount of musicians and the talent level is not wonting, it is a competitive venue. We've got an insider that's been able to soak up this scene for several years and he's gonna help us sort through the assortment of talent. Nols and myself are definite outsiders, with no actual experience. Being music junkies though, we will play virtual SXSW and drool over the prospect of seeing some of this live. We'll delve into what would be bands that we tried not to miss. As we understand it, it's easy to miss good shows at this thing because you can not be everywhere at once. Physics says so. Alright, the B-man is running this show. Side note, Ethan Hawke's intense gaze is getting old. It's good comedy these days.
