In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Ash are back with this week’s post game show. The Detroit Lions took on the Washington Commanders today and whether its a celebration or a therapy session, the Detroit Lions Podcast is here to help. While the Defense has been a big story for the Lions so far, injuries to the offensive line are becoming a bigger story.

Detroit Lions Podcast Washington Commanders Post Game

The Detroit Lions are starting the season off on the wrong foot again with injuries across the offensive line. With all the high quality players they have and the fact that this line is believed to be a top 3 line in the league when healthy. Its another gut punch to have the starters unable to play a single snap of the season together through at least two games, potentially all 17. Can Hank Fraley’s piecemeal line step up to the task and protect Jared Goff from the vaunted Washington Commanders defensive front? This will be a key story to watch in this week’s game.

Will D’Andre Swift be able to meet his production from last week despite his injury and the fact that he isn’t starting the game? There are a lot of questions about this Detroit Lions team mostly due to injury heading into this week two match-up against the Washington Commanders. Buckle up, it’s going to be a big show!

Speaking of “buckle up”, make sure to head over to our project with Detroit Lions shutdown cornerback Jerry Jacobs to help charities in Detroit. Its a great opportunity to get some great gear and make a difference in the city we all love.
