Wow, a lot has happened since we last spoke down our microphones. In the time since the Southampton draw, Manchester United have re-signed Cristiano Ronaldo, beaten Wolves, fawned over the aforementioned signing non-stop, beaten Newcastle at Old Trafford and stumbled to an opening game Champions League defeat to Young Boys. It's never dull, is it?
After the Young Boys game, Simon, Josh, Matt and Sam talked about most of the above and went through a rollercoaster of emotions. As fair warning, we also discuss the issue of the often-ignored rape allegations and the unsettled civil case involving Ronaldo. As a podcast, we feel that this aspect of the Portuguese's return cannot simply be swept under the rug and whilst we clearly won't imply guilt or innocence, it is definitely worth mentioning for those that are unaware of the matter, or the finer details of the story.
