In this episode, I had a conversation with Bharat about the third wave in digital. With changing media consumption patterns especially post covid, retail marketing has drastically changed. During lockdown, many retailers opened their online retail stores and we see a surge in retail mktg. With this comes an opportunity for retail media and ecommerce mktg. Retail media continues to boom year on year. Many big ecom players changed the game in digital advertising. I know for the fact that Omnicom is doing some great work especially around this. So lets hear it from Bharat himself about Retail Media.

Bharat is the Chief Digital Officer, APAC at Omnicom Media Group, where he leads digital marketing operations, productization, new business pitches, commercials and governance efforts for the network in APAC region. With a future-forward and holistic approach to digital marketing, he focuses on leveraging technology to drive efficiency along with creativity in digital marketing at scale.

Before joining the Omnicom Media Group, Bharat was leading operations for Xaxis in India as the Country Head, where he was responsible for managing P&L, growing the business exponentially over past seven years, fostering partnerships with leading technology, media and measurement players to drive a digital-first strategy and mentoring the next generation of digital leaders.
