This surge in energy consumption has led industry leaders to explore alternative energy sources, with nuclear energy emerging as a promising solution. But is nuclear energy the answer to powering AI?
The Growing Energy Needs of AI and data centers are notorious for their high energy consumption. Data centers alone account for approximately 2% of global energy use, a figure expected to climb to 4% by the end of this decade. With the rapid growth of AI workloads, this percentage is likely to increase even further. The demand for reliable, low-carbon energy sources has never been more urgent.
