Former aerial firefighting attack pilot Jay Seffern joins us to talk about this industry and some of the harrowing flights he has had in fighting wild land fires in the western United States.
Jay is a retired U.S. Air Force officer and recently retired as an airline captain after a long career. He is the host of the "Focus on Valor" Series, which is included here in our catalog of episodes. Jay is a native of New York City and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University. He and his wife make their home on the Texas Gulf Coast and in Belgium.
