Brian and Tyler had the chance to chat with Kira Roessler. She is a former bassist for Black Flag, formed dos with Mike Watt, has received two Emmys as part of the sound teams for projects like Mad Max: Fury Road, Joker, A Star is Born, and Game of Thrones.

On October 19th via Kitten Robot Records she is releasing her first solo album titled Kira.

In the interview we talk about replacing Black Flag’s established bassist, the punk rock ethos, divorcing someone who also happens to be the other half of your band while keeping the band together, and being a creative on a movie while servicing the requirements of the project.
