At 17, he signed the line, took the oath, replaced his skateboard with an M4, and he was off to war. After two tours in Iraq with the 1st Infantry Division, Hector Bravo returned to California and again raised his hand. After more than a decade in the California Department of Corrections, disgusted by the corruption he saw by some of the higher level leaders, he resigned at the rank of lieutenant.

BC and Hector talk about the corrosion of some in law enforcement, the corruption of leadership, his years of sobriety and alcoholism, his knowledge of "the yard," gangs behind the wall, and how pop punk music has helped him enjoy his days. Check out his Youtube channel, "That Prison Guard."
