While there are many options for skin care for babies, teens and beyond, the cosmetics industry has one emerging demographic left unturned – the pre-teens or tweens. That was the mission Christy Prunier took on when she saw her eleven-year-old daughter Willa struggling with her skin care regimen. So Prunier teamed up with her daughter to create Willa, a skin care line that would speak the language of a tweenaged girl and also keep their skin young and beautiful for as long as possible. Willa Doss is the 12 year old founder of “willa.” Born in Santa Monica California, Willa spent 10 years in NYC and now resides in Riverside, Connecticut with her family. She draws her inspiration from everywhere – music, nature, writing and sometimes even her younger siblings Jack and Julia. Willa also loves dancing and playing the piano! For the past 4 years Willa and her mom Christy have been developing a skincare line for girls. Willa has been involved with every aspect of the brand’s creation and she loves it all! Today willa consists of 17 products; each is special and different from other brands because they were developed by girls, for girls.
