Limited Intel LIVE! - clips - NASA Sending Dragonfly To Saturn’s Moon Titan NASA Sending Dragonfly To Saturn’s Moon Titan There once was a planet called Titan That was very big and very cold It had a lot of ice and snow And maybe some water too But what made it special was not its size Or its color or its light It had some molecules that were rare And they could be signs of life The scientists who studied this planet Were very curious and keen They wanted to know if there was life there And if so, what kind it would be They used a powerful spacecraft To look at the planet from afar They found some traces of methane and ethane And other gases that could be stars These gases are not just ordinary ones They have some special roles to play They can be produced by living things Or by chemical reactions that are rare One of these gases is called DMS (dimethyl sulfide) It is only found on Earth by microbes It has a smell that is like rotten eggs But it can also be a clue for life The scientists were excited by their findings They thought they might have discovered something new They wanted to confirm their results more closely And see if there was any evidence of DMS too So they used another spacecraft to look at the planet again But this time they looked for something else besides gas and water vapor They looked for something that could show them life’s activity and diversity And guess what? They found it! They found DMS on Titan! It was not just a trace, it was enough to make them happy! They realized that this planet could be home to some living things! Maybe even some similar to us! This discovery was amazing and wonderful news! It showed that life can exist in different ways and forms! It also showed that we are not alone in the universe!
