A chill Sunday morning conversation with Claudia, aka The Nano Tech Girl. Claudia shares her experience as college student majoring in nanotechnology. We discuss the reason that she decided to return to Mexico to pursue her bachelors degree. Claudia is a go-getter; she was valedictorian of her high school in San Diego,Ca even though she was an exchange student and English is her second language. Claudia continuously pushes herself to achieve her goals no matter how daunting they may seem at first glance. We talk about the advice she gave her sister; when she asked Claudia how she overcame her fears as an exchange student in the US. One key take away from the conversation was Claudia's philosophy of embracing her humility. We also talk about nanotechnology in the film Black Panther. And when I share my feelings of anxiety from using social media, we briefly discuss the philosophy of human connectedness and how social media and the internet has changed what we consider normal or natural.
