The year is 2006 and the WWE is on its way to becoming the Global powerhouse of entertainment it is today, but it still holds dear to the days of the Attitude Era, finding new ways to recreate the biggest and most important feud in WWE of the time: Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. Throughout the early part of 2006, Vince would reprise his role as unhinged and dastardly owner of the WWE and playing the role of Stone Cold was "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, finding himself drawing the ire of Vince McMahon which would lead to a Street Fight Match at Wrestlemania 22, which Michaels would win, but not without help according to Vince, who claimed to be fighting two men: HBK and God Himself! What would ensue would be one of the most outrageous matches in concept of the 00s at Backlash 2006
Close Personal Friends Basque (@Ba5que) and My Uncle Chet Ripley (With The Bad Back) join the podcast to watch Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon vs Shawn Michaels and God. We also talk about karma coming for over-eager bosses, Breezewood Pennslyvania and the old days of road trip stops, and Jesse Ventura being both unreal and the most real
