Filed in October 2020, the years-long litigation between Tati Westbrook, Halo Beauty, and her former business partner is finally over. On July 31st, 2024, a stipulated order to dismiss with prejudice was filed. On August 1st, 2024, Tati posted on YouTube that the case had settled, that she was stepping away from Halo Beauty, that she retains the rights to her name, and that she would be looking at other cosmetics and perfume products going forward.

The Court of Appeals has granted Hannah Gutierrez's request to have the defense's motions, including one for a new trial, reviewed by the lower trial courts. The defense asked for an immediate release while the litigation is ongoing.

In a rather snarky response, Kari Morrissey argued that the motion for immediate release is premature and should not be addressed until the motion for a new trial is decided. Morrissey also asserted that the defense’s case was not significantly affected by any missing elements, despite the absence of an expert report, and thus does not warrant a new trial.

Hayley Paige's 2020 lawsuit is also now finally resolved. The court of appeals gave Hayley Paige back her Instagram account and she has subsequently settled the lawsuit with her former employer JLM Couture for over $260,000 allowing her to move forward designing under her name.

The TikTok Psychic Defamation case continues as TikTok relitigates its claims when responding to the professor's opposition to removing the judge and amending the judgment.
