Today we are discussing the recent guidelines on gastroparesis with Dr. Brian Lacy from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. The expert review entitled, “AGA Clinical Practice Update on the Management of Medically Refractory Gastroparesis” was published in Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Our guest Dr. Brian Lacy is a world renowned expert in gastrointestinal motility disorders. He is a current Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. He is the author of over 215 peer-reviewed articles on gastrointestinal motility disorders and functional bowel disorders, in addition to multiple textbook chapters. Dr. Lacy recently finished a 6-year tenure as co-Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Gastroenterology. He is the former Editor in Chief of Clinical and Translational Gastroenterology and was the co-Chairman for the Rome IV Committee on Functional Bowel Disorders.
