The Middle East has a long history with the energy sector, with many countries in the region benefitting from the prosperity in the oil and gas sector for decades - but how will the rapid growth of the region cope with the energy transition?

This week, Sudharsan Sarathy joins us to discuss the implications that policy and investments in alternative energy generation sources are going to have as we move into the critical years of establishing a global low carbon economy. He guides us through a conversation covering LNG, Petrochemicals, and the energy history of the Middle East region.

Sudharsan is a senior oil analyst at a leading firm based in Dubai, UAE.
